Dynamic Variation:

Outer Banks Golf Courses

Make your clubs sing in the sun at one of North Carolina’s finest year-round public courses. Gentle ocean breezes and the snap of salt air remind you that you’re playing your favorite game on an island sandbar, far from the usual greens. You’ll find golf courses on the Outer Banks complex enough to challenge more experienced players, but inviting enough to try for the first time.

Below are golf courses and country clubs on the Outer Banks open to the public for the perfect OBX golf day.

Nags Head Golf Links – This 18-hole Scottish-style championship course was designed by Bob Moore. Located off US 158 Bypass, MP 15, in Nags Head. Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways complement the landscape and remain in good playing condition year-round.
The clubhouse features a restaurant and bar, The Players Grille, and a golf shop.

Sea Scape Golf Links – 18-hole championship course around the edge of the Kitty Hawk Maritime Forest. Beautiful view of the sea. Designed by former PGA tour player and Masters Champion Art Wall. Pro shop and restaurant on premises.

Duck Woods Country Club – 18-hole championship course designed by Ellis Maples. Located at Milepost 1 behind Kitty Hawk Elementary School in Southern Shores. Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways meander through beautiful woodlands, canals and natural wetlands. Full-service clubhouse featuring golf shop, lounge, dining and banquet facilities.
