The Soundside Event Site

The Soundside event site is owned by the Town of Nags Head and the Dare County Tourism Board, and managed by the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau.

As the name implies, The Soundside event site is located on the Roanoke Sound in Nags Head. The site is available for rent to any festival, fair, or event. It is easily accessible from Hatteras Island, Roanoke Island, and northern Outer Banks. The Soundside event site offers approximately 10 acres of green space making it one of the largest event sites on the Outer Banks.

The site can accommodate up to 750 total guests with on-site parking. A higher capacity is possible with a plan for additional off-site parking. The event site is available for “rent as is” which includes parking areas, lawns, and lighted pathways.

Clients of The Soundside event site with permission from the Town of Nags Head and proper permits will be allowed to provide temporary structures, vendors, concessions, and alcohol consumption during their events. The site can be reserved up to a year in advance and is available to rent daily until 11:00 pm.
