Dynamic Variation:

Community Engagement

The process of developing the Outer Banks Long-Range Tourism Management Plan (LRTMP) became a collaborative community initiative, involving dozens of local leaders, hundreds of tourism-related stakeholders and thousands of Dare County residents and non-resident property owners. The valuable input from our community made this a more vital and sustainable plan. Continued engagement and transparent two-way communication with our community stakeholders will be essential to the plan’s success. Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives with the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau that will allow for continued community engagement.
