Climb aboard the “A Train” to learn about the music, life and times of Edward “Duke” Ellington. You will listen to Duke’s music, including his more well-known tunes such as Satin Doll, Sophisticated Lady and excerpts from his orchestral compositions. ROBERT JACOBS, a musician who plays different genres of music, says that Jazz is his favorite. He has played on television, radio, at Jazz and Folk Festivals and clubs, at the White House and Presidential Inaugural events. He’ll play piano and digital accordion himself with a percussionist as well as play recordings. Class size is limited to 20 students. Monday, Feb 17.
