Celebrate summer with Kitty Hawk Kites and Food Lion to support the Outer Banks Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Coalition at the 14th Annual OBX Watermelon Festival on Thursday, August 6 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head.
Enjoy fun and interactive games and contests, food, tie-dye shirt making, arts and crafts activities, a climbing wall, TONS of watermelon fun and more. OBX Watermelon Festival is free for guests to attend; however, the purchase of tickets is required to play and eat! We will host a variety of competitions to challenge your friends and family or team up and take on other teams to win from a selection of awesome prizes!
