Jewish

The Jewish Community of the Outer Banks (JCOB)

JCOB is an unaffiliated group of Jewish individuals and families who want to maintain their traditional Jewish identity through social and spiritual activities. As such, we schedule regular social functions, a Chanukah party, a Passover Seder and High Holiday services. Our monthly Friday evening prayer service is on the 3rd Friday of the month at 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Kitty Hawk. (Directions: Take the bypass to MP 4 and turn west on to Kitty Hawk Rd. The building is on the left, down about 1 mile at the intersection of Kitty Hawk Rd and Herbert Perry Rd.) Our monthly Friday evening prayer service is led by a lay leader and we use a Reform prayer book. Oneg Shabbat to follow services.
