4th Annual OBX Seafood Festival returns October 17, 2015!
The 4th Annual Outer Banks Seafood Festival returns to Nags Head this fall! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17, 2015 and come to the OBX for fresh caught seafood, live entertainment and beverages. Plus, there are special activities for kids, not to mention the 10 acres of waterfront property to explore and enjoy at the Outer Banks Event Site venue.
The star of the show are the nearly two dozen restaurants preparing seafood in countless ways, and the local fisherman who catch the fresh shrimp, oysters, fish and scallops for them. Meet the locals who’ve worked these waters for generations at the OBX Catch tent, and pick up recipes, fishing tips and more. Learn about the species of fish native to the Outer Banks; there’s even a touch tank.
If you’ve never been to the festival, the site has lots of energy with people, activity, great musical groups, cooking demonstrations, old fishing boats, great arts and crafts vendors, excellent Outer Banks seafood, local non-profits, and maybe even a Corolla Wild Horse. This event is made possible with the partnership between the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, Outer Banks Catch, Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, Town of Nags Head, Towne Bank and the Outer Banks Seafood Festival Committee.
