2013 KILLER DUNES 2-MILER & FUN RUN. Presented by the Outer Banks Running Club. Proceeds benefit Friends of Jockey’s Ridge, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, preserving, and enhancing Jockey’s Ridge State Park. More Info
The Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site & Museum will be open as usual on July 4 to help the Outer Banks start the Independence Day Celebrations. The Coast Guard will perform the regular Beach Apparatus Drill, and the Lyle gun blast will be the first firework of the day! More Info
