Ernie Foster (far right), son of the late Ernal Foster, has been a charter boat captain since the mid-1960s. Ernie’s father started The Albatross Fleet, which consisted of three charter fishing boats which he had built between 1937 and 1953 which are still in use today. Ernie is one of the few remaining native Outer Banks captains on Hatteras Island, NC where he continues his father’s legacy with his wife Lynne Foster (far left).
