Spend the Holidays on the OBX

Spend the Holidays on the Outer Banks for a different kind of cozy this winter. The weather can be quite warm for December, or you can have the stiff cool breezes and crisp salty snap in the air that comes with life on an island. Travelers this time of year will find they have the place all to themselves, with isolated beaches for combing the shores for shells like conch, whelk or sand polished beach glass in hues of brown, green and blue. The stars sparkle like you’ve never seen them under deep black velvety skies, far from city lights. Local shellfish are in season at many of our original restaurants, as well as fresh fish caught daily from North Carolina waters. For a listing of restaurants Holiday hours click here. The offseason remains one of the most popular times to visit with the great rates on accommodations. By the way, the shopping is fantastic at our boutiques, local retailers and outlet center. We hope to see you here with us.
